As part of his schoolwork at his previous school Mark had to do history projects which were designed to get him used to doing his own research. as well as the usual libraries, encyclopaedia and reference books we used the Internet as a source for material for some of these projects and as a result and as a reward we decided to publish some of his best on the web.
During 1998 his project was based on the Victorian Age and Mark chose to concentrate on 4 famous Victorians from 4 different walks of life but who all made a significant impact on the world around them. To access this project please click here.
During 1997 Mark had to choose a famous explorer and then write about him. Mark chose Ferdinand Magellan and although the project was originally done on paper in his own handwriting and with some of his own drawings as well as other collected pictures, we have typed and scanned the majority of it onto our web pages.
